THE FAYOUM POTTERY SCHOOL The Fayoum oasis in Egypt is the home of a pottery school that developed the natural artistic talents of children. Evelyne Porret, the founder of the school, is a long-time resident of Tunes village. Her former students have opened numerous pottery workshops, and have become the attraction of week-end visitors.
